We're Visiting IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover
From September 22–27, 2026, we'll be attending IAA Transportation in Hannover — the world's leading trade fair for commercial vehicles, logistics, and transport. For us, this is a chance to scout the trends that will shape our customers' challenges over the next 24 months.
Why We're Going
The transport industry is undergoing a fundamental transformation. Autonomous trucks, connected logistics fleets, and software-defined vehicles all point in one direction: exploding traceability requirements. Every new function must trace back to requirements, tests, and safety evidence — at a pace that breaks traditional methods.
We want to understand on the ground: Where do functional safety managers and system architects feel the most pain? Which toolchains dominate? And most importantly: how can Vimpact make a difference before the next audit deadline hits?
What We're Looking For
🔷 Software-Defined Vehicle — who's serious about ASPICE Level 2+?
SDV is a given in passenger cars. But the commercial vehicle sector has its own dynamics: longer lifecycles, different safety profiles, complex OEM-supplier networks. We want to see who's tackling traceability seriously here.
🔷 Level 4 Autonomous Driving in Logistics
Hub-to-hub, factory traffic, last mile — L4 safety cases are a different league from ADAS. Which tools are early adopters using? Where do ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 (SOTIF) fall short?
🔷 Suppliers Under Pressure: Compliance as a Competitive Factor
Mid-sized component suppliers suddenly need to prove ASPICE compliance to OEMs. No dedicated tool budget, no in-house safety team. This is our core audience. We want to hear their pain points firsthand.
You're Going Too?
Whether you're exhibiting, visiting, or speaking — we'd love to connect in person. No pitch, no booth. Just coffee and an honest conversation about traceability, compliance engineering, and the reality of development projects.
- When: September 22–27, we'll be there on multiple days
- Contact: Reach out via our contact form — we'll share a mobile number to coordinate on site.
What We Hope to Bring Back
Specifically, we're looking for:
- Reality Check: How do CV OEMs and suppliers actually handle traceability today — not in slide decks, but in day-to-day engineering?
- Tool Landscape: Polarion, Jama, Codebeamer, DOORS — who uses what, and where are the breakpoints?
- ASPICE Readiness: Are companies actively preparing for assessment, or is it a "someday" topic?
- Contacts: We want to talk to people who understand the problem — not just those ticking boxes.
See You at IAA?
Let's connect — grab a coffee, have an honest chat about traceability, maybe a quick laptop demo. No booth, no pitch.
